The new Granfalloon album Calendar - Chapter II is out today.
The album is the second of a trio of albums I’ve been working on since “that year I wrote a song every week”.
I was very lucky to work on this album with some fantastic musicians. Those of you who have been keeping tabs on things will know I wrote the album with Lobelia Lawson. We picked apart the bare bones of the demos and ideas I wrote 10 years ago and turned it into something new and beautiful.
You might have heard the singles, Travelling Song and Emily’s Garden on BBC Introducing but check out the other tracks… the superb strings on Why Bury Me in the Graveyard?, the singalong When I’m Drunk, or the very strange departure that is the album closer (it will divide opinion I’m sure but I’m excited for you to hear it). Plus there’s an exclusive free Beach Boys cover for anyone accessing the album via Bandcamp or Patreon.
