The song was inspired by Richard’s time in hospital. Its instrumental passages feature lush strings arranged by Richard (played by Lucy McLuckie & Hazel Watson) and the intricate guitar work of Lobelia Lawson, with whom he wrote the song. It reflects the lush garden that Lomax found just off the hospital grounds where he would sneak off to in search of respite.
To celebrate the pre-order Richard and Lobelia will be performing the album via live stream this evening at 7pm on the Granfalloon Twitch channel.
